The Body without Organ of the Exhibition(with Cuspdot)
Sculpture series, multiple materials
2023
This sculpture series is mainly made with the leftover materials from Cuspdot’s previous exhibitions and the backstage of the space. The starting point of the sculpture series is to undertake exhibition as an exhibition process, from the backstage to the front, from the inside of the space to the outside, from one exhibition to another. The process is always detachable, connectable, reversible, and modifiable. The material creation is the reterritorialization of exhibition-particles, with totally different territorial motifs, territorial counterpoints, melodic landscapes formed by territorial counterpoints, and heart shapes.

Untitled(Love)
On the last day of my exhibition "Muss es sein? Es muss sein," we carried this “heart” from its exhibition space(Imaginary Z) directly into Cuspdot's ongoing exhibition, "What type of space or community will we evolve into?" where I'm exhibiting the Body without Organ of the Exhibition sculpture series, with the concept of undertaking the exhibition as an exhibition process.
From No.90 Wansongling Road (Imaginary Z) ) to No.137 Fengshan Road (Cuspdot),

The Heart, The Heart II
Parking chocks, cup hooks, 2021
I found the “heart” by luck. The left and right sides that constituted the heart shape were two pieces of parking chocks(for stopping wheels). When I saw them for the first time, they lay on the ground like every parking chock. However, when I turned the two parking chocks to their sides and put them together, they immediately made the heart shape.
The Heart II, two cup hooks make a heart shape.

Considering the “heart” is too alone to be a work of art, I made a “cake” to couple with it. The “heart” and the “cake,” Happy Together!
TV Body
TV, TV aerial, Raspberry Pi(motor control), motors, power supply
2021
When I saw the roofs' TV aerials, it reminded me of "the forgotten path" written by Luce Irigaray. In the book Speculum of the Other Woman, Irigaray points out that one thing Plato forgot to mention in his Cave is the pathway from the underground Cave to the earth in sunlight. For Irigaray, this path is precisely the most important part, as important as the genital vagina.
From a certain point of view, the TV aerial is the genital path for the TV. It is the thing on the roofs that makes television pictures accessible and brings us the pleasure of representation. However, it is forgotten, whether because it stays too far away or the images on TV are too taken for granted. I couldn't bear to see it, so I brought it back to the TV body and made it a full Body.
